This Delivery & Pickup Policy explains how SDC Container LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles the delivery, placement, and pickup of dumpster rental containers. By renting a container from us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Delivery Availability

We offer delivery and pickup services to our designated service areas. Delivery availability may depend on:

  • Scheduling

  • Driver availability

  • Weather and road conditions

  • Accessibility of the drop-off location

We will contact you if delivery timelines need to be adjusted.

2. Delivery Scheduling

  • Delivery dates and times are scheduled in advance.

  • Exact delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed.

  • Customers must provide accurate delivery details, including:

    • Property address

    • Placement instructions

    • Gate/entry codes if applicable

We recommend that someone be present at delivery to ensure proper placement.

3. Safe & Accessible Delivery Location

You must ensure that the delivery site is suitable for container placement, including:

  • A clear, level, and stable surface

  • Adequate space for the truck to maneuver

  • No overhead obstacles (wires, tree branches, structures)

  • No underground hazards (sprinkler lines, septic systems, irrigation, etc.)

We are not responsible for damage to:

  • Driveways

  • Lawns or landscaping

  • Underground utilities or structures

  • Sidewalks or curbing

Customers accept all risks associated with the selected placement location.

4. Driveway & Property Protection

Customers may request driveway protection (e.g., wood boards), but availability is not guaranteed. If you prefer to lay your own protective materials, please have them in place before our arrival.

We are not liable for scratches, cracking, tire marks, or surface damage due to normal delivery operations.

5. Container Placement

We will place the container where instructed as long as it is safe and accessible. If the driver determines that the area is unsafe, we may:

  • Refuse placement

  • Place the container in the closest safe location

  • Reschedule delivery

A dry-run fee may apply if placement is not possible due to customer error.

6. Weight Limits & Overloaded Containers

Each rental includes a specified weight limit. Overweight loads may incur additional fees.

Containers must not be filled above the top rim. Overloaded containers may:

  • Be refused for pickup

  • Require a second container

  • Result in additional charges

7. Pickup Scheduling

  • Pickup must be scheduled in advance.

  • Containers must be accessible and not blocked by vehicles, equipment, or debris.

  • The area must be clear and safe for the driver to load the container.

If the container is blocked or inaccessible, a dry-run fee may apply.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including placement and permitted materials

  • Not place prohibited items in the container

  • Keep the container accessible and unobstructed for pickup

  • Prevent unauthorized use of the container

  • Secure necessary permits for street placement, if required

9. Prohibited Items

To ensure safety and compliance, the following items cannot be placed in dumpsters:

  • Hazardous waste

  • Chemicals, paints, or solvents

  • Tires

  • Batteries

  • Liquids

  • Flammable materials

  • Asbestos

  • Medical waste

  • Refrigerators or appliances containing Freon

Unauthorized or prohibited materials may result in additional fees.

10. Weather Delays

Severe weather conditions may delay delivery or pickup. For safety reasons, we may reschedule service at our discretion.

11. Liability

SDC Container LLC is not liable for:

  • Damage to property caused by normal delivery or pickup operations

  • Losses due to delays

  • Issues caused by improperly prepared sites

Responsibility for the container transfers to the customer upon delivery.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Delivery & Pickup Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
