3.1 Service providers

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and process bookings:

We do not run Google Analytics, we do not operate an advertising pixel, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites.

The site saves a few small items in your browser's storage. None of them is a cookie.

Theme preference: remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays on your device.
Where your visit started: the name of the website that sent you here, such as a search engine (the site name only, not the full address), and the first page you opened on our site. It is kept only until you close the tab, and it is sent to us only as part of a booking or commercial inquiry you submit.
Booking in progress: when you pay by card, the details of your order are kept so that the confirmation page can send your paid booking to us after payment. It is deleted when the confirmation page loads, and it is ignored after 48 hours.
Confirmation already sent: a short record (your booking reference and payment session ID) so that refreshing the confirmation page does not send your booking twice.
Contractor account link (account customers only): remembers your account link so you do not need the email each time. It is checked with our booking system whenever you open the booking page, and it is removed when you choose "Not [account name]?" or when the account is closed.

You can clear these at any time through your browser's settings for this site, and the site will keep working normally.

Two exceptions are outside our control: our content delivery and security provider may set a cookie to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic, and our payment processor sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout page. Both are covered by the privacy policies of those companies, listed in section 3.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. This site is served over HTTPS, and payment is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor. However, no online transmission or storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
