Which size do I need?
The honest answer: most people go one size too small. A container that is slightly too big costs a little more. A container that is too small costs a second delivery, a second haul, and a second rental period — so when you are genuinely between two sizes, take the larger one.
Size is measured in cubic yards of volume, but the limit you are most likely to hit first is weight, not space. Each container includes a tonnage allowance; anything over that is billed per tenth of a ton. Dense material — plaster, tile, shingles, wet debris — reaches the weight limit long before it fills the box.
We rent 10, 12, 15 and 20 yard roll-off dumpsters only. We don't rent 30 or 40 yard roll-offs, front-load dumpsters with weekly pickup, or storage containers.
Side by side
| Dumpster | Weight included | 3-day | 7-day | 14-day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10-Yard Dumpster | 1 ton | $475 | $500 | $550 |
| 12-Yard Dumpster | 1.25 tons | $525 | $550 | $600 |
| 15-Yard DumpsterPopular | 1.5 tons | $625 | $650 | $700 |
| 20-Yard Dumpster | 2 tons | $725 | $750 | $800 |
Every rental includes delivery, pickup and disposal. The only other charge is the $19 booking fee, shown before you pay; there is no haul charge, no environmental fee and no percentage added at the end. What you see when you book is what you pay, unless something in the container triggers one of the listed surcharges.
What affects the price
- Size. The bigger the container, the higher the base rate and the larger the included tonnage.
- Rental length. 3, 7 or 14 days. Longer terms cost a little more up front and a lot less than an extension.
- Timing. Same-day and short-notice deliveries carry a rush fee, shown on screen before you commit.
- Weight. Over the included tonnage is billed at $25 per 0.1 ton.
- Extra days. $25 a day past your rental period.
What goes in
General household junk, furniture, wood, drywall, roofing and metal are all fine. Hazardous material, tires, electronics, appliances with refrigerants, mattresses, clothing and other textiles, masonry and yard waste are not. The full lists are on the FAQ page — worth two minutes before you load, because a prohibited item carries a $200 removal fee plus whatever the disposal facility charges us.
