Dumpster Rental in Framingham, MA

10 to 20 yard roll-off dumpsters for Framingham, delivered from our Hudson yard at one published price.

Clearing a basement or an attic in Framingham? These are the jobs that start as an afternoon and turn into a weekend, because nobody has seen the back of that room in fifteen years.

Framingham is the largest municipality on the MetroWest side and runs from dense multifamily near downtown to large-lot residential in the north. Street placement comes up more here than anywhere else we serve, and as a city that means a permit.

This is a local operation, not a franchise with a local-sounding name. Reputation travels fast in Framingham, which is a much stronger incentive to get it right than any customer-service policy.

Basements, attics and garages in Framingham

The pattern in Framingham is always the same. The volume looks manageable from the doorway and doubles once you actually start carrying things out. Basements also hide the awkward items: old paint on a shelf, a dehumidifier, a television nobody wanted to pay to dispose of. Sort those to one side first and the rest of the load is straightforward.

Framingham Centre and the Green

Framingham is a city, the largest place we serve, but its traditions are local. The Flag Day parade steps off at 10am in mid-June with a ceremony on the hour after, and children march with decorated bikes and strollers. Concerts on the Green run Friday evenings from June through August on the Centre Common, just north of Route 9. Garden in the Woods, 45 acres on Hemenway Road, is the headquarters of the Native Plant Trust and the best-known native-plant garden in the region, open mid-April to mid-October.

  • Flag Day Parade Mid-June, 10am. Parade and ceremony with the city's fire and police honor guards.
  • Concerts on the Green Fridays 6:30pm, June through August, Framingham Centre Common.
  • Garden in the Woods Mid-April to mid-October, 180 Hemenway Road.

Framingham runs from dense multifamily near downtown to large lots in the north. Which one you are in decides whether the container goes in a driveway or needs a street permit, so tell us the address details up front.

Between two sizes? The item picker sizes a cleanout from what you are throwing away, and the weight, roofing, drywall and deck calculators do the same for tear-outs, in about a minute and for free.

Access and permits

We need roughly the length of two parked cars plus room for the truck to back straight in, and clear space overhead for the hoist. Most Framingham driveways manage that easily; the ones that do not are usually the short, steep or shared kind, and those are worth flagging.

Every size we rent is over 6 cubic yards, so the state fire code requires a fire department permit for any rental that stays overnight, even on a private driveway. In Framingham, a dumpster within 25 feet of a public way needs written permission from the Board of Health. A street spot in Framingham needs permission from the DPW Engineering and Transportation Division (an obstruction permit). Getting any permit is the customer's responsibility. The dumpster permit guide lists this rule and its source next to every other town we serve.

What we can and cannot take

The prohibited list is not arbitrary. Mattresses, textiles, electronics, tires, yard waste and masonry are banned from disposal in Massachusetts under the state waste bans, so the disposal facility is not allowed to accept them from us or anyone else. General household debris, furniture, wood, drywall, roofing and metal are all fine. The item picker flags the restricted ones as you tap them.

One thing no fee can fix is asbestos: no Massachusetts facility will accept it. Have old siding, roof shingles, floor tile, pipe insulation or plaster tested before it comes off, whatever the age of the building. What we cannot take ›

On your own driveway you need the fire department's dumpster permit: the state fire code requires one for any dumpster over 6 cubic yards that stays overnight, and every size we rent is 10 yards or more. In Framingham, a dumpster within 25 feet of a public way needs written permission from the Board of Health. A dumpster on a street or sidewalk needs permission from the DPW Engineering and Transportation Division (an obstruction permit). Getting any permit is the customer's responsibility.

Do you serve the whole of Framingham?

Yes, every part of it, from our Hudson yard. If your street is awkward for a truck the size of a moving van, describe it in the placement notes when you book and we will tell you before we load rather than after we arrive.

Prices, fees and rental terms are the same across our whole service area. See the Terms of Service for the complete fee schedule.
